Full embedded Linux stack delivered from BSP to application layer:

  • Yocto BSP — custom Yocto build tailored to the target hardware, including layer configuration, recipe development and image generation
  • EEPROM programming — factory provisioning of device identity and configuration data for soap dispenser modules
  • OTA firmware updates — robust over-the-air update pipeline using SWUpdate and U-Boot, with rollback support to ensure devices in the field can always recover from a failed update
  • AWS integration — device connectivity and telemetry reporting to AWS IoT, enabling remote monitoring and fleet management
  • GUI — embedded graphical user interface for the station’s touchscreen, guiding users through the wash cycle and displaying status
  • Hardware control — stepper motor control for the mechanical components of the wash and sanitise cycle
